EVALUATION
QUESTION 2
QUESTION 3
Throughout the planning and production process of our music video, we received critical feedback from our peers. This enabled us to act positively towards this to improve the outcome of our final piece. Whilst pitching our ideas to the class we were given advice on how to make our Cinderella intertextuality not too complicated, hence why we did not use a cinderella look alike costume but stuck to a modern fairytale dress. Moreover, from our feedback we learnt that the ballroom dance routine becomes boring if it goes on too long. To avoid this we added in cut aways and more lip synching elements.
If I had the chance to re-film this i would have preferred to use a more sophisticated fairytale location.
QUESTION 4
The internet helped me with the research of my production because it allowed me to do all my research task on website such as YouTube to get to the media that I wanted to access I could. I used the internet mainly to look at the music videos that I did my analyse on but also in the planning stage I used it to log all my work onto my Wix account. Furthermore, it also allowed us to look up different locations that we would be able to film at and get all the information for quickly. The Web 2.0 was a big help because it gives you information all in one place and easy access to anything that you would want.
Premiere Pro CS6
Premiere pro was the main editing software that we used for the whole production. It was extremely easy to use and it allowed us to edit all of the focus groups and evaluation, but the main use was all the editing used in the main production the most used tools was the cut tool, the adjustment layers and all of the different effects that was used throughout e.g. crop and three way colour corrector.

Macbook Pro
This was my laptop that I did all the editing on and reseach for my music video. It was good becuase it could handle all the rendering well. I was also able to use this to do all of the lobg work and post-production work.
Digital Cameras
A digital camera was used as the most important piece of technology throughout all stages. Firstly, it was used in the planning getting all the recces for the locations that we was going to film at, it was then used in the research part whereby we made a small video showing what the general public wanted from the genre and what they expect and we also used in the the final evaluation stage with all of the focus group videos and evaluation videos that we made. However the biggest part was the production stage because we used our main camera (Camera 70D with a 55mm to 135mm lens). The camera was essential to our production because without it I wouldn't of been able to to create anything in this production.
Wix
Wix is a website creation website that allows me to create a website to display all my work onto. This allowed me to keep everything in one place and build a portfolio of all my work.
Audacity
This was a audio recording program that allowed us to record the directors commentary. It allowed us the remove the background music to try and make it as good as we possibly could do. This was a really easy program to use becuase we was able to make many takes and could export it straight away to the right format.
Photoshop
Photoshop was the image editing software that we used for the digipak. Within this program the most used effects was the tiles, the blur tool, magic wand tool and black and white adjustment layer. This allowed us to easily create our digipak and export it into the right format.
